I suspect that the dimensions were converted from metric. Inch dimensions to two decimal places aren’t very practical. I think most would expect these as some fraction of an inch (eighths/sixteenths).
The construction of the frame members (against the wall) is not per the video depiction of the project. The part counts assume that you are using 2x4s in excess of 10ft. A count of the number of 8ft 2x4s needed for the project would be great. This will cut down on trips to the lumber yard. I think a cut list for the 2x4s would have also been nice too.
I have deduced that the cabinet doors do not have a half-inch overlay on each side. I find myself having to reverse engineer the overlay and reveal for a consistent look.
Really enjoy your videos. Clearly you’re a pretty clever guy. I have bought numerous plans based on videos of projects. Exceptional plans take what you loved in a video and provide additional details that make the project easier. I would have been content building per the specifications. But, since I needed to convert dimensions to the nearest eighth of an inch. The print-off the plans were mostly a place for me to rework the dimensions given. In retrospect, I think I wish I had just worked up my own plans from the video.
Excellent job champ , exactly what I was looking for from youtube to build my garage cabinet organizer,, keep up the good work and videos
Such a detailed and organized plan. Thanks for creating this. Now that I have the plan I can watch the YouTube video for more guidance. Keep up the good work.
